The melodious nightingale’s voice will be heard no more. India woke up hearing the saddest news today. Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away today morning at 8 12 am. She breathes her last on Breach Candy hospital.
Lata Mangeshkar passed away due to COVID complications. She was admitted to the hospital on January 8 due to COVID and pneumonia. She was later declared COVID negative and was sent back home as well. However, her health further deteriorated yesterday and she was again admitted back to the hospital where she was put under aggressive therapy, as per the reports of the doctor.
Her mortal remains to be taken to Shivaji Park for the last glimpse. Her nightingale’s voice will be cherished for eternity. May her soul rest in peace.
