A little child was allegedly kidnapped and slain for a ransom of Rs 50 lakh in a horrifying event. The incident was reported in the Jharsuguda district’s Sarbahal neighbourhood. Sources claim that some criminals kidnapped the businessman’s son and sought a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. On March 27, a grievance was filed in this respect.
Nevertheless, reports said that the corpse of the missing little child was discovered on March 28 in the Bargarh district and that the police had detained two people for their apparent participation in the crime. Amit Sharma and Dinesh Agarwal have been named as the two defendants.
According to police sources, the two have admitted to kidnapping the victim from Jharsuguda, killing him, and then burning the body at Bargarh. “Post mortem and an inquest are being conducted in Bargarh since the corpse is there. I wouldn’t want to speculate on how they killed the young youngster. Nonetheless, the suspects have made a confession, according to Jharsuguda SP Smit Parmar.
