Chief Secy Stresses On Weekly Review Of Departments For Effective Implementation Of Public Service Rights Act

In order to guarantee the successful execution of the Odisha Public Service Rights Act service delivery system, which is essential for the general public, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja instructed all secretaries to carry out a weekly evaluation of their departments. The Chief Secretary gave several ministries instructions to carry out the crucial task of the state government while presiding over a secretary-level meeting at Kharvela Bhawan. Additionally, he directed the departments to take the required actions to ensure that all officers and staff are fully included in the i-GOT (Integrated Governance Online Training) platform, which offers online training tools to enhance abilities, implement useful changes, and make use of knowledge technology.

Over 2 lakh employees’ data was registered on the i-GOT platform as of December 15, and the number is still growing. Along with discussing plans for the forthcoming Prabashi Bharatiya Divas and Uttarsha Odisha, the group also examined the status of the “Water Life Forest Mission.”

The “Vision Document” drafts for “Developed Odisha-2036” and “Developed India-2047” should be finished as soon as possible, the Chief Secretary recommended. It was also suggested that the budget for 2025–2026 be prepared in advance.
