China-Taiwan bitterness escalates, Biden presidency challenges China by deploying warships in the South China sea

US-China hostilities have resurfaced since the Biden presidency regime. This time around, the bitterness over neighboring Taiwan has been seen. At first, 12 Chinese warplanes entered Taiwan’s airspace. In response, the United States sent its warships to the South China Sea.

Last Sunday, the U.S. military said some U.S. Theodore Roosevelt (aircraft carrier) warships had been sent to the South China Sea. The ship is said to have been deployed by the United States to assist in the mission. Expansionist China has been claiming Taiwan as part of its vision, and has repeatedly violated Taiwan’s borders. Twelve Chinese warplanes entered the Taiwan border on Saturday.

Among them were four nuclear-powered aircraft, and four J-16s. The U.S. then warned China and immediately sent the warship to the China Sea. For the past few years, China has been occupying many parts of the South China Sea.

“We are conducting daily operations at the sea,” said Rear Admiral Doug Verisimo, a U.S. naval officer and commander of the Sea Strike Group, according to the Reuters news agency. “In addition to ensuring the integrity of the sea, we look forward to protecting allies of the United States,” he said.
