CM Devolves OSWC Headquarters’ New Building’s Foundation Stone

Naveen Pattnaik To Hold Meeting To Access COVID Scare in State

The new headquarters of the Rs 19.60 crore Odisha State Warehousing Corporation was officially opened today by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. In 1958, the Odisha State Warehousing Corporation was founded.

This company oversees 68 facilities in 30 districts around the state that are home to warehouses with a combined capacity of 5,21,400 metric tonnes. It supports the associated system of scientifically correct distribution and storage of agricultural goods.

All commercial activities for the warehouses are managed at the Corporation’s headquarters at Cuttack Road, Bhubaneswar. The corporation’s business expands, and so does the range of its activities. To create basic infrastructure to fulfill this requirement, steps have been taken to construct a new 4-storey office building in the head office premises.

IDCO, Bhubaneswar has been entrusted with the construction of this project. The building can provide a good environment for the chairman, managing director, other officers and assistant staff of the corporation as per the requirements of the workplace as well as provide ancillary facilities for the reception room, board room, and visitor restroom. The construction of the project is targeted to be completed within 18 months.
