CM Inagurates New Campus Of IMS And SUM Hospital At Phulanakhara

The new IMS and SUM Hospital campus in Phulanakhara, which is situated on NH-16 between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, was dedicated on Sunday by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The Chief Minister stated during the new facility’s opening that it will significantly improve the state’s and the twin cities’ healthcare needs. The new hospital will open with about 750 beds, and in two years, it will gradually grow to 3,000 beds. The majority of the departments and state-of-the-art equipment will be included, including cutting-edge cancer treatment. Nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, and diagnostic tools will all be available in the oncology care facilities of the new hospital.

Patients will benefit immensely from the hospital’s location because it will be easily accessible from anywhere. General medicine, respiratory medicine, pediatrics, neonatology, critical care medicine, psychiatry, anesthesiology, radiodiagnosis, emergency medicine, immuno-hematology and blood transfusion, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, medical oncology, pediatric oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, and microbiology will all be housed at the IMS and SUM Hospital’s Phulnakhara campus.
