A campaign has been started to reinforce the foundation for creating a new, empowered Odisha under the State government’s ambitious program “Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha.” The emphasis of this initiative would be on every village and panchayat. On the second day of the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik began the program through video conference from Bhubaneswar in the districts of Puri and Nayagarh. 50 lakh rupees will go to each panchayat. Six Puri district constituencies have received a total of Rs 134 crore, which will be used to construct 4130 projects. Similar to this, Rs 97 crore has been given to four Nayagarh district constituencies for the execution of 2924 projects.
Through the construction of every site of worship, the promotion of Jagannath culture across every panchayat, and the advancement of digital infrastructure, this initiative aims to improve Odisha’s cultural foundation. The foundation for creating an aspirational Odisha will be this. New Odisha will extend its wings and soar to new heights from our firm cultural basis to the great horizon of contemporary science, and we will construct new Odisha, nabin Odisha. Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister, claimed that the program will bring culture and modernization together.
According to Patnaik, this unity would lead to wealth in the communities. This is how we see Odisha in the twenty-first century, he continued.
“Odisha is the land of Jagannath. Universal love, peace, harmony, equality and service is the message of Jagannath culture. It is based on inclusiveness and embraces everyone irrespective of caste and community. Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha scheme will preserve Jagannath culture in every village. Every place of worship will be developed. Heritage sites will be preserved. Preservation and protection of these cultural and heritage sites is essential for our future generations,” the Chief Minister stated.
