The 35th Konark Festival 2024 was officially opened by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday in Konark, Puri district. Along with Pipili MLA Ashrit Kumar Pattnayak, Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra, Commissioner-cum-Secretary Tourism, Director Tourism, Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain, SP Puri, Secretary OSNA, and other dignitaries, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida graced the ceremony.
Additionally, the Chief Minister went to see the artwork of 129 sand painters from eight other nations, including India. “Such programs will play an important role in giving a unique recognition to the talent of sand artists,” Majhi added, describing the event as highly distinctive and fascinating.
