BHUBANESWAR: In a major push for Odisha’s burgeoning IT sector, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi virtually inaugurated the operation centres of four prominent IT companies on Friday. The companies—Chubb Business Services, Integreon Managed Solutions, Bourntec Solutions, and Secuodsoft Technologies—are expected to bolster the state’s reputation as a prime destination for IT, professional services, and technological innovation.

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Majhi highlighted Odisha’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment across industries, including IT, manufacturing, research and development, and professional services. He emphasized the state’s ambition to achieve a $500 billion economy by 2036 and a $1.5 trillion economy by 2047, with the IT/ITeS and services sectors playing a pivotal role in this vision.

“Our focus is and will remain on creating an environment that nurtures businesses, empowers people, and fosters sustainable growth. The presence of these companies in Odisha will not only drive the state’s growth but will also pave the way for many others to follow,” Majhi stated.

Odisha’s Electronics & IT Minister, Mukesh Mahaling, also underscored Bhubaneswar’s emerging reputation as a key hub among Tier-2 cities for IT companies and professional services firms. “We are proud of the faith that investors, both nationally and globally, place in us. As we look ahead to 2036 and 2047, we envision Odisha as one of India’s key hubs in emerging technologies,” Mahaling said.

With these new additions, Odisha’s diverse industrial landscape continues to expand, further establishing the state as a leader in the IT and services sectors, and a growing destination for innovation and investment
