Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched Samaleswari Temple Area Management & Local Economy Initiatives (SAMALEI) for the improvement of Sambalpur’s Maa Samaleswari Peeth and 108 acre land on the temple area.
CM Patnaik also conducted a ground-breaking of 20 industrial projects and also inaugurated two projects exploring from Metal and downstream, Tourism, Textile and apparel, Cement, Plastic and Food processing sectors.
Odisha Chief Minister also launched the mobile version of GO PLUS, a land bank information system. This is especially effective for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Odisha.
As per the report, the 22 industrial projects are with a combined investment worth Rupees 13,311.53 crore which are assumed to produce employment opportunities for 10,677 people in Odisha.
CM Patnaik highlighted the influence of 5T initiatives in the inaugural ceremony and stated that Mo Sarkar and 5T Initiatives of his Government are solidly in place to efficiently streamline the investment facilitation mechanism in Odisha. They must guarantee that the residents and Businesses are presented services from the Government in a hassle-free and time-bound manner.
For SAMALEI, around Rupees, 200 crores were sanctioned for the financial year 2021-22 where the initiative involves – beautification of the temple, economic development of the local people, and modern facilities for tourists and devotees.
Also Chief Secretary, Suresh Mahapatra with a team, along with Western Odisha Development Council Chairperson, Asit Tripathy, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian, and Works Secretary Krishan Kumar and travelled to Sambalpur lately.
