CM Naveen Sanctions Funds For Khurdha, Jagatsinghpur Under Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Scheme

Today, under the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha initiative, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik authorized Rs 95 crore for seven assembly segments in Khurdha district and Rs 99 crore for four seats in Jagatsinghpur district. The money will be used for 2,763 improvements in 190 GPs within 10 blocks in Khurdha. Funds were also approved for Jagatsinghpur’s four assembly segments: Paradip, Tirtol, Balikuda, and Jagatsinghpur. 2,922 projects in eight blocks under these constituency will get the funding.

With the growth of Jagannath culture, the construction of holy sites, and the development of digital infrastructure in every hamlet, this initiative aims to preserve the fundamental elements of Odisha culture.

The chief minister stated, “Our main objective is the development of all villages,” at the video conference introduction of the program. There will be health and education guarantees for every villager. The vibrant culture of Odisha shall be preserved. The contemporary Odisha will be defined by its developed villages. In every village, steps will be done to preserve Jagannath culture as part of the “Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha” plan. Heritage sites will be conserved and all houses of worship will be updated.

Patnaik emphasized the need for rural communities to strengthen their digital infrastructure and stated that internet connections will be made available in the villages. In rural areas, there will be science parks, skill-development institutes, and banking establishments. The CM also mentioned that the primary schools will be a part of the initiative.
