Bhubaneshwar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has chosen to hike the compensation of junior instructors designated in Primary Schools over the State by 50 percent.
Accordingly, the current salary of contractual junior teachers has been expanded from Rs 7400 to Rs 11,000. Additionally, the salary of junior instructors has been expanded from Rs 9,200 to Rs 13,800.
It will benefit an add up to of 33,038 junior teachers counting 13,324 legally binding and 19,714 permanent junior teachers. The salary increment will take impact from January 1, 2022. The State Government will spend Rs 168 crore every year on this.
