While the whole of India is gripping in COVID third wave, similar situations prevails in Odisha as well. While the number of cases were less than 200 some seven days ago, the cases have doubled itself in the last few days. While on Sunday 424 new positive COVID cases were reported, Monday also clocks the same number of cases, I,e 424.
Odisha registered 298 cases on Saturday, 228 cases on Friday, 225 cases on Thursday, and 221 cases on Wednesday.

- Sambalpur: 22
- Sonepur: 7
- Sundargarh: 27
Besides, 31 from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 54,793 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.77%.
