Elon Musk- Twitter’s new owner makes a stir in the social media platform after taking the deal worth $44 billion. He seems to increase the engagement on the microblogging website by calling to make the user experience “fun”.
Elon Musk tweeted- “Let’s make Twitter maximum fun,” along with a series of tweets. His tweet came after the platform reportedly witnessed “fluctuations in follower counts” from “organic” accounts just after news broke that the Tesla CEO had bought the popular social networking platform in an all-cash deal worth $44-billion.
Twitter DMs should have end to end encryption like Signal, so no one can spy on or hack your messages

While many are worried about this platform turning into a place for hate speech and misinformation under his leadership, a lot of users decided to leave the platform after thinking about the fate of Twitter.

User engagement on Twitter would be more crucial for the new owner right now as Former US President Donald Trump’s Truth Social app is already topping the Apple App Store chart in the US, which Musk highlighted on Wednesday.
Let’s make Twitter maximum fun!

Meanwhile, many on the internet have been doubtful about Elon Musk’s “free speech” push. They felt Musk’s tweet about “extreme antibody reaction” on Wednesday was directed at “left-leaning” Twitter staffers.
By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law.

I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.
If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect.
Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.
The company’s co-founder and ex-CEO Jack Dorsey were quoted by various media organizations as saying in 2018 that “those who work for the social media giant have their own biases and that they’re more left-leaning. We need to constantly show that we are not adding our own bias, which I fully admit is more left-leaning But we need to remove our bias from how we act and our policies and our enforcement.”
