The Commissionerate Police has geared up to deal with the law and order, and traffic issues in Bhubaneswar during the Durga Puja celebrations.
Addressing the media on Thursday, Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi said, “We have deployed 31 platoons of police across Bhubaneswar to ensure peaceful festivities in the state capital. The force will be led by 12 Additional DSPs, 23 ACPs, and 41 Inspectors.”
The Commissionerate Police has divided the capital city into three sectors for mobile patrolling. In addition, control rooms have been set up at six places. Along with the patrolling teams, striking force will be in action, the Commissioner added.
