Covid-19 In Odisha reported 3,777 new with the single-day exposure with the cumulative case to 1 46,894. The death toll has now reached 616, with 11 more patients succumbed to death due to Coronavirus within the last 24 hours. Of the new cases reported from across 30 districts, 2,191 were detected from various quarantine centres, while 1,586 are local contact cases.
According to the State Health and Family Welfare Department, the cumulative cases had risen to 146894, including 34,163 active cases and 1,12,062 recoveries. Cuttack reported three deaths, Khordha reported two deaths and Bolangir, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Nayagarh and Rayagada reported one death each.
According I & PR department, Khordha reported the highest 815 novel coronavirus cases followed by Cuttack -368, Puri -237, Kendrapada- 148 and Sundargarh- 148.
