Covid-19 In Odisha reported 3,996 new with the single-day exposure with the cumulative case to 1 43,117. The death toll has now reached 605, with 14 more patients succumbed to death due to Coronavirus within the last 24 hours. Of the new cases reported from across 30 districts, 2,359 were detected from various quarantine centres, while 1,637 are local contact cases.
According to the State Health and Family Welfare Department, the cumulative cases had risen to 143117, including 34,359 active cases and 1,08,001 recoveries. Khordha reported five deaths following by three from Puri, two from Mayurbhanj and one each from Koraput, Cuttack, Kalahandi and Sambalpur districts.
According I & PR department, Khordha reported the highest 606 novel coronavirus cases followed by Cuttack -354, Puri -279, Balasore -209, Mayurbhanj -160 and Nabarangpur -151.
