The Indian Meteorological Department issued Heavy Rain To Lash Odisha‘s normal life and warning in parts of south and interior Odisha in the next 24 hours under low-pressure.
The IMD in mid-day bulletin revealed a cyclonic circulation over the Gangetic West Bengal and neighborhood, which is most likely to turn out a low-pressure over the west-central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast around 13 September.
The low-pressure is likely to trigger heavy rainfall in the south and interior districts, accomodating isolated heavy to hefty rainfall at some places.
Besides, it may be moderate rainfall with thundershower in the coastal and northern districts, which would continue till 14 August.
In view of the heavy rainfall and thundershower, IMD has issued a yellow warning for districts that are Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, Kandhamal, Koraput, and Malkangiri, which would be accounting with heavy rainfalls.
