Bhabani Shankar Chayani has been the collector of the district Cuttack for quite some time now. In these years, he has done some amazing and wonderful jobs for the development of the district of Cuttack. Recently, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar Odisha felicitated Chayani with Ph.D. in business administration. His subject in his Ph.D. was “Role of Political Leaders in Economic Development: A study of MLA’s of Odisha.”
It is the immense dedication of Bhabani Shankar Chayani that despite his all-tight schedule throughout the day, he has been able to successfully complete his Ph.D. program. It really shows the hard work and dedication along with the all-rounder nature of Dr. Chayani.
The thesis paper of Dr. Chayani was examined by Professor (Dr.) Sarmistha Banerjee of Calcutta University and professor (Dr.) Manju Bhagat of Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. The paper submitted by Dr. Chayani is regarded as one of the most unique papers when it comes to use of business tools in politics.
Recently, on June 26th Bhabani Shankar Chayani was felicitated by the Alumni Association of Biswanath Bidyapitha, Athagarh. Chayani was an alumnus of the school and had achieved the sixth rank in all Odisha matriculation examinations. In the last two years, he has made some remarkable changes both in the infrastructure and manpower of the school.
