Cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Andaman Sea and neighborhood around October 18, the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
At present, a cyclonic circulation lies over westcentral and adjacent southwest Bay of Bengal in lower tropospheric levels. Similarly, a cyclonic circulation lies over eastcentral Arabian Sea off Karnataka coast in lower and middle tropospheric levels.
As per IMD, the southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from remaining parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat; most parts of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
