The Orissa High Court on Friday deferred the hearing of a petition filed by Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini against her husband and actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty. The next hearing of the petition will be held in the High Court at 2pm on November 4.
Based on a petition filed by Varsha Priyadarshini, the court had instructed both of them to refrain from posting anything about or against each other on social media.
However, a few days after the court order, Anubhav had posted a few audio clips on his social media handle. Anubhav Mohanty took to his Twitter account to post the audio recording that had previously gone viral.The audio in question has few women talking to each other over the phone. In his tweet, he tagged Barsha and asked her whether the audio clip was of her talking to her sisters about him.
This infuriated Varsha who accused him of disregarding the directive of the High Court. However, Anubhav’s lawyer argued that it was his constitutional right. Based on Anubhav’s statements, the court has now decided to hear the case on November 4.
