Born on January 3, 1962, in Sukida village, Jagatsinghpur district, Dasharathi rose from humble beginnings to become a distinguished figure in Odisha’s administrative landscape. He began his career by joining the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) in 1983 and later earned a promotion to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2005.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dasharathi has held various positions, including Secretary of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Additional Secretary and Director of School and Public Education, and District Magistrate of Subarnapur and Kendrapada districts. His dedication and leadership have earned him numerous accolades and recognition.
Beyond his administrative accomplishments, Dasharathi is a passionate advocate for Jagannath literary culture and a prolific writer. His articles have been published in various newspapers, and his book, “Diverse People and Diverse Thoughts,” has resonated with readers from all walks of life.
