Day 3 box office collection for Guntur Kaaram: The Mahesh Babu film made less than ₹15 crore on its first Sunday, despite debuting at ₹41.3 crore.Day three box office receipts for Guntur Kaaram: On January 12, Mahesh’s much awaited Telugu flick Guntur Kaaram was released. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the movie made over ₹14.25 crore nett on its opening Sunday in India. The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sreeleela as well.
Trivikram Srinivas has directed the Telugu film featuring Mahesh Babu. Previously, the actor and the director cooperated on blockbuster hits Athadu and Khaleja. Apart from Mahesh, the action film features Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil.In the movie, Mahesh portrays a “very flammable” character who falls in love with a journalist trying to expose the illicit activities taking place in the city while following the life of Guntur’s underworld king.During a recent pre-release ceremony for his next film, Guntur Kaaram, Mahesh Babu broke down in tears. “Nothing will match the love I have gotten from you (fans) over these years,” he declared. The years have only seen a rise in the affection. I don’t know what to say. I constantly feel that my only option is to show respect by bowing my head and putting my hands together.Mahesh also mentioned how he and his late father, Krishna, would constantly hit Sankranthi. “This year feels strange because he’s not here,” the actor remarked. Every year, I used to eagerly await his call and anticipate hearing from him honestly. But because he’s not here, I’ll have to turn to my fans to feel that affection.
