Dhenkanal: The District Judge Court premises of Dhenkanal has been declared as a micro containment zone for three days as over 10 staff tested positive for Coronavirus.
Saroj Kumar Sethy, Dhenkanal’s Collector declared Micro Containment Zone in the premises of District Judge Court, Dhenkanal for at least 72 hours from 7 AM of January 24 to 7 AM of January 27.
The decision was taken after more than ten employees as well as some of the Judicial Officers of the Court were detected as Covid positive on January 23.
The vehicular movement in locality both in public and private is stopped in the Micro Containment Zone except the vehicles permitted for the supply of essential items, medicines, medical emergency, health surveillance, sanitization, and other necessary activities to be undertaken by District Administration/Executive Officer, Dhenkanal Municipality.
All the shops and business establishments irrespective of the scale and size in the Micro Containment Zone will be closed with immediate effect. The supply chain of medicine and other essential items will be kept uninterrupted by the Executive Officer, Dhenkanal Municipality.
The locals riding in or near the Micro Containment Zone will stay in-door and this is to be followed without deviation. Violation will lead to strict penal action as per Disaster Management Act-2005 and Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 & Covid-19 Regulations- 2020, read an office order issued by the Collector.
