Dhenkanal: In an initiative to spread awareness against covid-19 in the district, District Magistrate and Collector Mr. Bhumesh Chandra Behera flagged off “Corona Sachetanata Rath” at the Collectorate on Tuesday.
The Rath was arranged jointly by Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department, Information and Public Relations Department and UNICEF Odisha which will tour across eight blocks and different urban areas of the district awaring people about the Covid-19 and measures to overcome it.
Speaking on the initiative, Shri Behera said, the awareness drive will continue till each and every person tests negative for Covid-19 in the district.
Further, he advised people to be cautious and make others aware about the virus so that they themselves along with other people can avoid getting infected.
