Dhenkanal Tata Steel BSL has inaugurated a 100-bed Covid Hospital on the premises of the local Kharag Prasad College. Today, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated it through virtual.
The 100-bed Covid Hospital will operate at Kharag Prasad College in Dhenkanal’s Odapada block. It has ventilatora and 10 ICU bed arrangements. According to Tata Steel BSL, people from the surrounding areas, including Odpada in Dhenkanal district and Banra Pala block in Anugul district, will benefit. State Health Minister Naba Das was present in the occasion. State Steel, Mines and Public Works Minister Prafulla Mallik, Dhenkanal MP Mahesh Sahu, MLAs Sudhir Samal and Seemarani Nayak, Dhenkanal District Commissioner Bhumesh Chandra Behera and Tata Steel BSL director Narendra Pramukh were also present.
