Does drinking carbonated drinks increases testosterone levels ?

In a recent study that was published in the journal Acta Endocrinol, researchers looked into the effects of carbonated beverages on male fertility and sex organs and discovered that drinking soda may increase a man’s masculinity and give him bigger balls.A higher concentration of Coca-Cola or Pepsi could boost testosterone secretion and increase testis longitudinal diameter (TLD), testes transverse diameters (TDD), and serum concentrations, according to a study that sought to investigate the effects of carbonated beverages on testis growth.

The rodents were tested on days 1, 5, 7, 10, and 15, which involved weighing their testicles and extracting blood. The final day’s findings showed that rats consuming Coke and 100% Pepsi had substantial differences from those consuming a Pepsi and water mixture, including greater testosterone levels. Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola consumption may promote the growth of the testicles and boost testosterone production.  Our results give a scientific basis for a more thorough understanding of the impacts of carbonated beverages and their mechanisms on human development and reproductive function, as well as how they help prevent cancer and treat prostate dysfunction.

Many health problems, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and tooth decay, have been linked by prior studies to the high sugar content in sodas.
