His inspiration stems from Odisha itself—a land known for its warmth, simplicity, and deep connection with nature. For him, education begins the moment a student enters the gates, and the environment must inspire belonging before it inspires learning.
Growing up in Bhubaneswar, Dr. Pal experienced a childhood filled with friendships, sports, and a close-knit community. A national-level swimmer, cyclist, and martial artist, he believes these experiences shaped his understanding of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. A computer science engineer and entrepreneur, he built multiple technology companies and spent years in the corporate world before destiny redirected him. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he stepped in to lead RCM College at a critical moment. Leveraging his expertise in educational technology, he rapidly transitioned the institution to online learning, ensuring uninterrupted education during one of the most challenging periods in modern history. That experience became the turning point that transformed RCM into a technology-driven management institution.
Yet perhaps his greatest contribution lies in his belief that true education happens through human connections. Festivals, sports, cultural events, and community celebrations are not extracurricular activities in his eyes—they are essential spaces where students discover their authentic selves, build lifelong friendships, and develop leadership skills that no textbook can teach.
