On this occasion Dr. Chatterjee said, “Nowadays, people’s faith in journalism is decreasing all over the world. Similarly, the scope of journalism has also increased. As people move towards digital media, the interest in reading real news is waning. A change can be seen in the way people are avoiding the news. In such a situation, the field of journalism is creating many challenges. Therefore, he expressed the opinion that journalism students should give importance to developmental journalism and real journalism.
In this program, two lab journals (practice newspapers) prepared by the students of the institution have been launched.
