The Crime Branch confirmed the Pakistan link in the DRDO espionage case which led to the arrest of the employees of Chandipur-based Integrated Test Range (ITR).
According to the reports, while briefing the media, Crime Branch ADG Sanjeeb Panda informed that the Pakistan link in the espionage case has been established from the Facebook account of the mystery woman. Out of
He further informed that the woman presently operates from Pakistan and has managed to hide her location as she uses a separate IP addresses for each account and it is now obvious that she is using the proxy IP of the United Kingdom, USA, Germany and India.
The ADG also informed that the mystery woman is still chatting with some people as out of her seven Facebook accounts, some are now active. They are also trying to trace the persons with whom the woman is in contact. He said that the Crime Branch has sought more details from the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (ICERT).
