Armed with a master’s degree in Mass Communication from the prestigious Xavier’s University along with an undergrad degree in Human Resources, Smriti has charted a way to put forth Odisha as a beauty and wellness destination through a chain of innovative, elegant and exclusive salons.
A pioneer when it comes to exclusive beauty indulgence, she is credited with introducing the concept of Bridal Lounge in Bhubaneswar. Fuelled by her passion to excel, Eco Belleza is posted to become one of eastern India’s top brands in the beauty business.

How is it different from other salons and skin care service providers?
All our staffs are regularly trained from Major bands like Loreal, GK and Dermalogica once in every three months that enhances their skills. The entire motive behind regular training is client satisfaction and to keep up with the latest trends in the hair and skin care industry. We give utmost importance to customer requirements and their satisfaction.
Keeping in mind the current Coronavirus situation, how do you assure your customers of their safety?
During Covid, we are being extremely cautious of our client’s safety. We are only encouraging customers who are taking prior appointments. Walk-in customers aren’t encouraged, if there are more than 5 clients. Masks for both staff and clients are mandatory. It is also mandatory for all our staff to wear PPE kit. Also, the entire salon space is sanitized every two weeks.
What’s your USP?
Our USP is the Bridal Lounge. It is Odisha’s first and exclusive bridal lounge, that is solely dedicated for the brides and grooms make up.
Give us some idea about the exclusive bridal lounge concept you have started?
The entire concept started, as in most salons in Odisha there is a space constraint. For a bride and groom, it’s the most important day in their life. So, we wanted to give them a memorable experience which they will cherish their entire life. Eco Belleza’s exclusive Bridal Lounge is completely dedicated to the brides for their makeup, hair styling, nail paint and art and other salon services, without the interference or regular services of other customers. Imagine your own exclusive bridal suite.
Eco Belleza’s Bridal lounge is exclusively dedicated to brides and grooms for their makeup, hair styling and other salon services and there is also a photo shoot area to capture all the memorable moments of your BIG DAY.
What are your expansion plans?
God has been kind to me. During Pandemic, with sheer hard work, Eco Belleza has successfully established five more outlets, one in Delhi, two in Hyderabad, and very recently one in Mumbai and one in Pune in February, 2021. Also we are coming up with 2 more outlets in Odisha. The goal is to provide Customers an unisex Salon with good infrastructure, well trained staff at an affordable cost where we are targeting all the classes of the society.
