In a shocking and a breaking news, former minister of Odisha and ex-MLA Duryodhan Majhi passed away at his residence on late Monday night. The information was revealed by his son Krushnasingh Majhi. As per the statement of his son, the charismatic leader was rushed to the hospital on Monday night after he felt ill. However, he was declared dead on arrival to hospital.
The last rites of Duryodhan will be performed in his antive village today. Majhi was a five time MLA from Khariar Assembly constituency in Nuapada district.
“I am deeply saddened by the demise of former minister Duryodhan Majhi. He has rich contribution for the development of his area and the tribals. I extend my sympathies to the bereaved family members. May the departed soul rest in peace,” tweeted the chief minister of Odisha Mr Naveen Patnaik.
