Amid the third wave of COVID 19 in Odisha as well as India, Odisha witnessed the highest spike in daily positive COVID cases in the last 24 hours. As per the reports, in the last 24 hours Odisha has witnessed 7071 new COVID positive cases. The number of cases are 2022 more since the previous day cases.

Out of the 7,071 cases, 4,128 were detected in quarantine while 2,943 are local contact cases, according to the State Information and Public Relations Department.
