The ex-deputy Speaker of the Odisha Assembly, Rama Chandra Panda has received back his stolen gold snatched from his wife.
According to the media reports, GRP personnel visited the Panda’s house and handed him the 1.6 gram gold which is worth Rs 10,000. 19 years ago, a Mangalsutra was stolen from Panda’s wife which has returned in moulded form.
As per the report, Panda showed his utmost gratitude to the Railway force for recovering his wife’s gold ornament after 19 years.
The report also informed that the ornament was stolen on December 20, 2005, in Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express between Solapur and Pune.
