On Saturday, President Droupadi Murmu held a supper for world leaders, delegates, and other invited guests from all nations at the conclusion of a hectic first day of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in this location. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed world leaders and their spouses for the second time today before introducing them to the President at the Bharat Mandapam this evening.
The meals were served on silver and gold-plated cutlery, and the Heads of State and other international leaders were given a spectacular dining experience. Along with a variety of street foods, the menu included dinners with Indian flavours and creative millet dishes. The menu card opens with an explanation of how, despite its variety, India is bound together by “taste.” “A medley of traditions, customs, and climate, Bharat is diverse in many ways, Taste connects us,” the menu declared. Dessert — Madhurima ‘Pot of gold’: Cardamom scented Barnyard millet pudding, fig-peach compote and Ambemohar rice crisps
