Gadar 2 has surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 26.5 crore), The Kashmir Files (Rs 24.8 crore), and Pathaan (Rs 22 crore) to set a new record for second Saturday box office receipts. The movie is expected to maintain its strong showing throughout the second weekend, with predictions from Sacnilk indicating a potential Sunday revenue of Rs 40 crore. Although it had to compete with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer, Gadar 2 achieved a strong launch by earning an amazing Rs 40 crores on its first day.
Surprisingly, Gadar 2 is on track to surpass Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 339 crore), PK (Rs 340 crore), and Sanju (Rs 342 crore) by tomorrow, cementing its position as the fifth-highest-grossing Hindi film in domestic box office history. It has even surpassed Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320 crore), which had a higher domestic box office total.
