The famous Gajalaxmi Puja of Dhenkanal begins here on Saturday with much festive fervor and gaiety. This year Goddess laxmi is worshiped in around 38 puja pandals here. In Dhenkanal Goddess Laxmi is worshipped for 11 days starting from Kumar Purnima
Every puja pandals here has decorated their pandals beautifully. Several puja committees also came up with huge bamboo and cloth erected pandals based on different themes, dazzling light decorations and also light gates have been erected across the town.
