Google announced a separate application for Job seekers in India which is called as “Kormo Jobs” apps. This search app will help to provide jobs to thousands of people who have lost their jobs during Coronavirus.
This App will also help for the fresher who are exploring for Job. The platform launched by Google make the job-seeking process a little easier and aims to help millions of young people get access to entry-level jobs in the post-pandemic world.
This App was first launched in Bangladesh in 2018, and after successfully piloting, it was expanded to Indonesia before being launched in India as a spot on Google Pay.
People are facing a significant crisis in JobJob, some are forcibly thrown out of their JobJob, and some are not able to get a job physically. So this App is intended to support employment efforts in a post-pandemic situation.
By bringing Kormo Jobs Android app to India will help even more job seekers discover and apply for jobs across India with an additional gateway. In its blog, Google revealed that ever since this application was launched companies like Dunzo and Zomato had posted over 2 million jobs on the platform.
The App is available for all Android users, and it can be downloaded from the Play store. The company believes that more youngsters will benefit from it as an Android application, and it will rebrand the Jobs Spot on Google Pay to Kormo Jobs.
The app description on Google Play store says “Employers use the Kormo Jobs app to hire job seekers. It only takes a few minutes to set up your basic profile and get a beautiful digital CV that you can share, print, or apply directly to jobs listed on the App.
If you take the time to fill out your background, experiences, and interests then we’ll match you for relevant jobs – let employers come to you! The more you use the Kormo Jobs app, the better it gets at knowing your expertise, interests, and skills.
Along the way we’ll recommend areas for you to grow, and give you the tools to do so, to upgrade your career and unlock the next great opportunity.”
The App is free of cost for Android users and will also enable users to build a CV which can be shared right from the Kormo App.
How to use the App:–
Step 1: Visit Play Store, and download the application.
Step 2: Build a profile using your email address and by generating a password.
Step 3: Enter the essential personal information.
Step 4: Select your job interests, education and work history.
Step 5: Submit the digital CV and start applying for jobs.
