The Sambalpur district administration ordered all government officials in the district to wear Sambalpuri attires on the occasion of “Sambalpuri Din” on August 1.
In an official release to the heads of all government agencies in the district, Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das commemorates the late Guru Satya Narayan Bohidar, who made a significant contribution to the Sambalpuri culture. She further said that August 1st would be celebrated as “Sambalpri Din”. “To celebrate his birthday and raise awareness of his contributions, the district administration has decided that all government officials in the district will wear Sambalpuri dresses on August 1,” she said.
