For allegedly sharing the toolkit which was related to the Farmer’s protest on social media, non-bailable warrants have been issued against two people who are responsible for this incident.
The Delhi Police informed about the non-bailable two days after the arrest of climate activist Disha Ravi from Bengaluru in connection with the case and were sent to five days police remand by Delhi court. The custody was needed to investigate an affirmed larger conspiracy against the government of India and to determine her alleged role associating with the Khalistan movement.
As per the news report, the two suspects- Nikita Jacob and Shantanu were reportedly both of them were allegedly involved in developing the document. Due to which Non-bailable warrants have been issued against both the suspect. They are suspected to be involved in preparing the documents and were also in direct interaction with pro-Khalistani elements.
The report further states that the Delhi police later conducted raids in Mumbai and other places to catch the suspects and claimed that Ravi was an editor of the toolkit Google doc and chief confederate in the document’s formulation and distribution.
Delhi Police earlier had also asked Google and other social media to present information about e-mail IDs, URLs, and certain social media accounts related to the creators of the “toolkit” shared by Thunberg.
Greta Thunberg, the teen climate activist, had shared the toolkit to lend her support to the farmers’ agitation against the three agriculture laws. After the documents were shared there was a huge out storm and protest against the matter as the toolkit has been cited by some critics as “proof” of her conspiracy to fuel protests in India.
