Gujarat To Mark 23 Years Of Progress Under Narendra Modi’s Leadership With ‘Vikas Saptah’

In honor of 23 years of progress under Narendra Modi’s direction, the Gujarat government has scheduled a week-long celebration. Modi served as the state’s chief minister from 2001 to 2014 and as prime minister since 2014. The event, which is called “Vikas Saptah” (Development Week), will take place from October 7 to October 15. It will highlight significant accomplishments made since Narendra Modi became Gujarat’s chief minister in 2001. 23 famous sites in the state, such as the Statue of Unity, the Sabarmati Riverfront, the Surat Diamond Bourse, and the Dwarka Sudarshan Bridge, will hold a “Vikas Padyatra” (Development March) as part of “Vikas Saptah” to highlight PM Modi’s role in Gujarat’s development.

The week will be filled with events, such as essay competitions with a development theme at schools and universities, performances by local artists, and the renovation of significant public areas with lighting and wall murals. Using the hashtag #VikasSaptah, people will be urged to share their own experiences with Prime Minister Modi’s leadership on social media and digital platforms. The Gujarati government has also agreed to launch and lay the groundwork for development projects valued at Rs 3,500 crore during the festivities. “Vikas Saptah” will have a different topic every day, such as “Youth Empowerment Day,” “Good Governance Day,” “Entrepreneurship Day,” and “Nutrition and Health Day.” The main projects that have fueled Gujarat’s inclusive growth over the previous 20 years will be the subject of these themed days.
