Shri. Omkar Rai, Executive Chairman, Start-up Odisha, Shri. Manoj Mishra, Secretary, Electronics and IT, Government of Odisha, Shri. Debashish Patnaik, President, TiE Bhubaneshwar, and Shri. Sunil Taneja, Vice President, TiE Bhubaneshwar inaugurated the Hall of Fame 2.0. During Hall of Fame 2.0, 25 start-ups from across the state displayed their products and ideas at a specially organised exhibition.

“The start-up ecosystem in the State has reached critical mass,” said Shri. Omkar Rai, Executive Chairman, Start-up Odisha, Government of Odisha. During the current fiscal year, the Odisha start-up ecosystem has received approximately Rs 100 crore in funding in various start-ups across the state, bringing the total funding to Rs 359 crores from angel investors and venture capitalists. We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from start-ups all over the state. The recently concluded Odisha Start-up Growth Fund, Fund of Funds, has received a commitment of over Rs 1000 crores, which will be made available to start-ups and invested over the next five years. I am confident that by the end of Hall of Fame 2.0, the selected 25 start-ups will have achieved success.

High-level investors from across the country, such as Mumbai Angels, Indian Angels, Lets Venture, and others, interacted with the start-ups and shared important financial management aspects related to their products and services with them. An open house was held with investors for start-ups to interact, clear doubts, and receive entrepreneurship advice.
