Jaishankar stated that Hindi is being used at UNESCO while speaking at a gathering in New Delhi on Thursday. We have an agreement with them about the use of Hindi in its headquarters. They employ it in newsletters and social media. To expand on this will take some time. It is difficult to introduce a language into the UN process. He stated that it is being worked on and will proceed.
The six official languages of the UN at the moment are English, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and French.Along with V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs, and Anjeela Jokhan, Permanent Secretary for the Fijian Ministry of Education, Heritage, and Arts, Jaishankar also unveiled the Vishwa Hindi Diwas logo and website. The 12th World Hindi Conference will take place in Fiji from February 15–17, 2023, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday.

In fact, Fiji feels lucky and privileged to host this important event as the first nation in the Pacific, “Anjeela Jokhan, the secretary for Fiji, remarked.
