How Crew’s box office debut compares to other major releases this year

Under the direction of Rajesh A. Krishnan, Crew made a strong opening at the Indian box office. The movie made Rs8.75 crore on its first day of release in India, according to Sacnilk.com. Crew is currently the third-highest opening for a Hindi film in India. The biggest openers in India, excluding Crew, are Fighter, Shaitaan, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Article 370, and Yodha.

In India, Fighter, which opened in theatres on January 25 of this year, brought in ₹24.60 crore net. Fighter, which is helmed by Siddharth Anand, has Akshay Oberoi, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover. In India, the movie has made over ₹200 crore net.Shaitaan, a supernatural thriller directed by Vikas Bahl, hit theatres on March 8. In India, the movie debuted with ₹14.75 crore net at the box office. Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios present the movie, which stars Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan. Krishnadev Yagnik is the writer and director of the 2023 Gujarati horror film Vash, which has been adapted into Hindi as Shaitaan.
