Bhubaneswar: The state government named Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra the chairman of all development bodies, removing the chairpersons of seven development authority, including the CDA and BDA. The appointment became effective right away.
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), Berhampur Development Authority, Sambalpur Development Authority, Rourkela Development Authority, Puri-Konark Development Authority, Paradip Development Authority, Kalingnagar Development Authority, and Talcher-Anugul Meramundali Development Authority will all have Krushna Chandra Mohapatra as their chairman going forward.
