All Secretaries were instructed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to create a plan outlining how the electoral pledges would be fulfilled. Majhi requested the administrative officials’ assistance in accomplishing the government’s objectives during a high-level conference with secretaries in order to realize the dreams and ambitions of the populace. Our government is constantly answerable to the people, according to the Chief Minister. We operate with the dedication to stick with the people as their representatives. The CM gave the officers instructions to ensure that the 21 key electoral promises were properly carried out.
Majhi said” we need to prepare a vision-2036 for Odisha. What could not be done in the last 24 years, has to be done in these 5 years. For its success we have to work hard in these five years to achieve all our goals,” he said.
Additionally, he recommended improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the public grievance hearing procedure. The public’s faith in the government is developed through dialogue. Additionally, the government has begun operating as the people’s government. The people and the government shouldn’t have to face any obstacles. The Chief Minister brought up the matter of Odia Asmita and instructed the officials to take action so that each department’s program may be carried out in Odia.
Majhi emphasized on the successful implementation of various popular schemes of the Central Government and all schemes of the State Government. The Chief Minister advised to work dedicatedly and proactively to carry out these schemes in a smooth and effective manner. The Chief Minister said that officers have full freedom to work for the development of Odisha. But they have to work within the boundaries of transparency and accountability. The CM suggested to discuss the budget amount to fulfil the promises and to prepare a report on the current status of all the issues.
“All the members of the cabinet together with the two deputy chief ministers are the focal points of the government. Everyone’s participation in the decision-making process is our priority. Ministers and administrative officers of all departments, as well as the grassroots staff, are very important for the success of the government. We have to take the opinion of our party as well as the opinion of the opposition party seriously. The opinions of grassroots representatives are also equally important,” the CM said.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Nikunj Bihari Dhal, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments were present in the meeting.
