According to a News18 story, 11 women who work as municipal employees in Kerala recently won a lottery worth Rs 10 crore. A few weeks ago, the women pooled their funds to buy a lottery ticket worth Rs 250.Some of the employees did not even have Rs. 25 with them when they won the lottery in the state government’s 2023 Monsoon Bumper lottery. The gang purchased a lottery ticket for the fourth time; they had previously won Rs 1,000 in a lottery held during the state’s Onam holiday.
The women, who work at a facility in Kerala’s Malappuram district that separates plastic garbage, were preoccupied with their regular tasks when they were informed of the situation.
