Following a catastrophic flash flood that blasted over parts of Nepal, the Odisha government has established a round-the-clock control room at Odisha Niwas in New Delhi to help residents in need. Since the tragedy, hundreds of Indians have reportedly vanished.
The state administration stated in a notification published by the Office of the Chief Resident Commissioner, administration of Odisha, at 4 Bordoloi Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, that the control center will offer the essential support to Odishans impacted by the flood.
The control room can be contacted on mobile numbers 7428135044 and 8527580245 and landline 011-23012807. The MEA helpline numbers 9851316807 and 9709107500 may also be contacted for assistance, the notice said.
