On June 30, at 11 a.m., Saayoni Ghosh must appear before ED officers at their office in Kolkata.According to persons with knowledge of the situation, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has called Trinamool Congress (TMC) youth wing chief Saayoni Ghosh to its Kolkata headquarters on June 30 for questioning in the school recruitment issue.In June 2021, Ghosh, a Bengali actress with no political experience, succeeded Abhishek Banerjee as state head of the TMC’s youth branch.
“Her name came up multiple times when a former TMC youth wing leader who is currently in detention was being questioned. Ghosh has been requested to produce her bank records, property-related paperwork, and income tax returns from the last ten years, according to an ED employee who preferred to remain anonymous.Ghosh has been invited to appear before ED officers at their city office on June 30 at 11 a.m., according to the news agency PTI.
