1.Hello Swaranjalee, how you define yourself to our readers?

Ans – Currently a student of Commerce, from K.C.Das Commerce College,  I Swaranjalee Dutta is an inhabitant of North Lakhimpur, Assam,India. I have a great passion to write regarding romance, drama, woman rights, LGBTQ community. A nature lover girl, never giving up with my battles, a girl with perseverance and consistency.

2.When did you realise you want to be a writer and what’s your motivation behind it?

Writing to me is a shield, which covers up my stress and anxiety. It is the field though which I fight with my mishappenings. Sometimes, it’s like mirage, when other people see me, without knowing the real me. The motivation to write started from the very point of my birth. Thousand obstacles are walked down by me through my thorny path of childhood. That’s when I realised that, yes I can be a writer.

3.How has writing helped you and what are things which have changed after being a writer?

Firstly, tackling with my own aggressions and unfortunate incidents, writing helped me a lot. Honestly, nothing has changed for me after being a writer. The only thing that has happened is few of the writers from the country came in contact with me, supporting me through my journeys as an anthologist and co-writer. But, it is a matter of concern to the nation that reading books and having an inspiration to right is not found in many hands, people don’t even try to read thoroughly a book. All they want is search for the audio books and complete a book in few minutes. That is not what a true reader does. That’s what I want to change. Moreover, women empowerment is a field in itself that is vast, couldn’t be comprehended easily. Being a writer I want to reflect the atrocities and dangers women face, even today.

4.What advice do you have for aspiring writers and what was the most difficult task in your writing career?

I would be obliged if the upcoming aspiring writers have this consistency and confidence within them. That’s what is important. Never just stop writing, if people don’t recognize your writing, or read them. Keep trying. One day or the other one would be able to spread the awareness and one’s perception among thousands.

5.You have taken part in different anthologies, how do you take out time for writing and are you writing something as of now?

It’s not about time actually. Yes, I do manage a few of my schedules, but I take some time out to write. It’s a part of my life. Writing and being a part of the anthologies help me grow myself and widen my circle of knowledged persons. I feel happy doing so.

Currently, I am writing in my blogger channel and my Instagram account handle a few poetry or inspirational stuffs that comes to my mind. Other than that, no new books for publishing yet.

All the best to the upcoming writers. Here I want to disclose a thought written my me – “Never make a STOPPAGE in self development, Rather make a STOPPAGE in image creation.”
